2nd meeting Attendees include representatives from the Provincial Ministry of Labour Market Development, Ministry of Post Secondary Education and Future Skills and Industry. PAMEA is currently sitting in on these meetings in conjunction with the Provincial Government and Industry to determine gaps in the Aerospace workforce which involves all aspects of Aerospace and AMEs. October was a busy month for the Western Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association (WAMEA) and Pacific Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Association (PAMEA) volunteers alike. Combining forces they attended the YYC and YVR Careers in Aviation Expos, presented by Wings\/Helicopter Magazine. The Careers in Aviation Expo features two events held in different regions of Canada with the goal of connecting aspiring aviators, graduating students and young professionals with a variety of companies, organizations and schools. The event is designed to provide insight into a range of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aviation careers, including, but not limited to: Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers, airport…<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
